The Berkel 834 EPC is a fully automated slicing and
conveying machine designed for high volume slicing
in delicatessens or pre-pack operations. It offers high
standards of quality and reliability
Suitable for a wide range of meat
products and cheeses, the 834 EPB is
computer-controlled for efficient and
high-speed operation. It slices
quickly and consistently, ensuring
minimum waste, and provides a
choice of stacking or shingling
programs for easy packing and
attractive product presentation.
Operators are given the choice
of single or grouped stacks
(70 mm high) or shingles, where
the gaps between slices
(1-99 mm), the number of slices
and single, grouped or
continuous shingling options can
be pre-set.
Easily programmable
A simple keyboard makes it easy
for operators to program the
slicer for fully automatic
operation. Cutting speed, slice
thickness, sharpening mode and
cleaning mode can be quickly
selected with a couple of key
strokes, with the selection
confirmed on the digital display
for added security.
Outstanding performance
The unique hollow-ground blade
provides clean and consistent
slicing even at high speeds,
ensuring maximum product
yield. To keep the blade edges
razor sharp, the machine features
a built in knife-sharpener, with
sharpening time electronically
controlled to prevent
unnecessary wear on the blade.
